Sec. 2-2.3001. Created.¶
Pursuant to Section 13 of Article 13 of the Constitution of the State and Article 1.5 (commencing with Section 1620) of Chapter 1 of Division 1 of Part 3 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State, there is hereby created in the County a board to be known as the Yolo County Assessment Appeals Board. (§ 1, Ord. 987, eff. October 4, 1984)
Sec. 2-2.3002. Membership.¶
The Yolo County Assessment Appeals Board shall consist of three (3) members appointed directly by the Board of Supervisors. Approval of each member shall be by a majority vote of the Board of Supervisors. The Board of Supervisors may appoint not to exceed six (6) alternate members. (§ 1, Ord. 987, eff. October 4, 1984)
Sec. 2-2.3003. Compensation.¶
Members and alternates of the Yolo County Assessment Appeals Board shall be compensated for attendance at regular and special meetings at the rate of One Hundred Twenty Five and no/100ths ($125.00) Dollars for meetings of four (4) hours or less per day and One Hundred Seventy Five and no/100ths ($175.00) Dollars for meetings over four (4) hours per day. Sec. 2-2.3004. Filing Fee for Application for Changed Assessment.¶
Pursuant to Section 16 of Article XIII of the California Constitution, there is hereby established a non-refundable filing fee in the amount of $45.00 for each Application for Changed Assessment filed with the County of Yolo Assessment Appeals Board for the Clerk’s services associated with processing the application and the handling of the appeal. This fee will take effect July 1, 2011. Filing fees are not refunded but may be waived where the applicant would qualify for a waiver of court fees and costs pursuant to California Government Code Sections 68630-68641.
