Sec. 10-1.101. Authority.

This chapter is enacted pursuant to the provisions of Section 21082 of the Public Resources Code of the State and Section 15000 of Title 14 of the California Administrative Code. (§ 2, Ord. 1020, eff. October 17, 1985)

Sec. 10-1.102. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to adopt the State CEQA Guidelines as the regulations for the County regarding the objectives, criteria, and procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of environmental impact reports or negative declarations pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and regulations promulgated thereunder, and to adopt additional local procedures to implement the State CEQA Guidelines.
