3-4-300 - Notice — Hearing by Animal Control Officer or Designee.¶
a. When a provision of this chapter requires notice of a hearing to be given pursuant to this section, notice shall be given in all of the following ways:
Notice of the hearing shall be mailed or delivered at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing to the applicant, license holder or owner of the animal, as the case may be.
Notice of the hearing shall be posted at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing on a bulletin board on a public area at the Animal Shelter, on or near the doors of the meeting room where the hearing will be held, if the hearing is to be held at a location other than the Animal Shelter, and in at least three (3) places on or near the licensed premises or the premises where the animal is maintained.
b. The notice shall include the information specified in Section 3-4-315.
c. In addition to the notice required by this subsection, notice may also be given in any other manner deemed necessary or desirable.

3-4-305 - Notice — Hearing by Appeal Hearing Officer.¶
a. When a provision of this chapter requires notice of a hearing to be given pursuant to this section, notice shall be given in all of the following ways:
Notice of the hearing shall be published one (1) time in at least one (1) newspaper of general circulation within the Town at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing.
Notice of the hearing shall be mailed or delivered at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing to the appellant and the applicant, license holder, or owner of the animal, as the care may be if different from the appellant.
Notice of the hearing shall be posted at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing on a bulletin board in a public area at the Animal Shelter, on or near the doors or the meeting room where the hearing will be held, if the hearing is to be held at a location other than the Animal Shelter, and in at least three (3) places on or near the licensed premises or the premises where the animal is maintained.
b. The notice shall include the information specified in Section 3-4-315.
c. In addition to the notice required by this section, notice may be given in any other manner deemed necessary or desirable.

3-4-310 - Mailed Notice.¶
When a provision of this chapter requires notice of a hearing be given pursuant to Section 3-4-300 or 3-4-305, the notice shall also be mailed or delivered at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing to any person who has filed a written request for notice with the Animal Control Officer.
3-4-315 - Contents of Notice.¶
When a provision of this chapter requires notice of a hearing to be given pursuant to Section 3-4-300 or 3-4-305, the notice shall include the date, time and place of the hearing, the identity of the Hearing Officer, a general explanation of the matter to be considered, a general description, in text or by diagram, of the location of the licensed premises, if any, that is the subject of the hearing, and a notice that if the applicant, license holder or owner of the animal, as the case may be, fails to appear at the hearing, the hearing shall proceed in such person's absence and such absence shall be further considered a waiver by that person of his or her right to present evidence at the hearing.
3-4-320 - Mailing; Method.¶
Mailed notice pursuant to Sections 3-4-300, 3-4-305 and 3-4-310 shall be sent first class and deposited, postage prepaid, in the United States mail and shall be deemed given when so deposited.
