For statutory provisions authorizing a city to adopt street names, see Str. and Hwys. Code § 5026.

The following streets shall be designated and named as major streets in the city:

Main Street, from Pine Street to Walnut Street;

F Street, from Walnut Street to 6th Street;

6th Street, from A Street to U.S. Highway 99;

8th Street, from A Street to J Street;

J Street, from 8th Street to U.S. Highway 99;

D Street, from 6th Street to 8th Street;

Walnut Street, from the south boundary of the city limits to F Street;

Walnut Avenue, from E Street to F Street.
