West Sacramento Municipal Code Art. II Administration

The business licensing officer shall:

A. Receive applications and fees;

B. Refer applications for investigation;

C. Receive investigation reports;

D. Grant or deny licenses pursuant to this title;

E. Give notice of renewals; and

F. Give notice of the violation of the municipal code upon petition of any city or county officer identified in Section 5.04.230(A).

The following persons shall investigate and report to the business licensing officer on applications referred to them:

A. The police chief;

B. The fire chief;

C. The community development director;

D. The director of public works;

E. The health officer of the county, if applicable;

F. Such other city, county and/or special service district officials as may be assigned from time to time.
