Sec. 17-151. - Appeals.

Any decision by the planning commission to approve or disapprove a designation of a landmark or historic district, or to approve or disapprove a certificate of appropriateness shall be final and conclusive unless, within ten (10) days following such decision:

(a)

A written appeal is filed by any interested party with the city clerk requesting a public hearing before the city council stating the reasons for such appeal. All required fees for said appeal shall be paid in full to the city upon the filing of each appeal; or

(b)

A member of the city council requests a public hearing before the city council stating the grounds for the appeal.

(c)

Such appeal, or city council request for a public hearing, shall be set for a public hearing by the city clerk in a timely fashion.
