Wasco Municipal Code Ch. 8.16 Manure

Any person, firm or corporation who spreads, stores, uses or maintains within one hundred feet of any residence, dwelling or other building used for human habitation, any form of livestock manure, poultry droppings, or deposits of other animal secretions, which emit any offensive odor, is declared to be a public nuisance. (Ord. 175 §1, 1973).

Any person, firm or corporation who violates the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding ninety days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 175 §2, 1973).
