8.100.110 Firearms.

It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any firearm within the limits of the city, whether negligently, recklessly or intentionally; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to a law enforcement officer in the performance of duty, to the use of a firearm at a pistol range or at a location approved in writing by the chief of police, or to a situation of self-defense or similar legally privileged use of a firearm. 8.100.120 Spring guns or air guns.

It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge a spring gun or air gun within the limits of the city, whether negligently, recklessly or intentionally; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to a law enforcement officer in the performance of duty, to any discharge at a pistol range or at a location approved in writing by the chief of police, or to a situation of self-defense or similar legally privileged use of such a gun. (Code 1971, § 5212)
