6.16.010 - Purpose.¶
It is the purpose of this chapter to implement the provisions of the California Industrial Development Financing Act (Sections 91500 and following of the Government Code of the State), as amended from time to time (referred to in this chapter as the "Act").

6.16.020 - Name of Authority.¶
The Industrial Development Authority hereby established pursuant to the Act shall be known as the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Tracy.

6.16.030 - Need for Authority and declaration that Authority shall function.¶
Pursuant to subsection (b) of Section 91520 of the Act, the Council has determined and declares that there is a need for the Authority to function to accomplish the public purposes prescribed by the Act, and therefore the Authority shall function, transact business, and exercise its prescribed powers as provided by the Act.
