3.20.010 - Department heads-Generally.¶
Except where the law of the state prescribes minimum qualifications and job descriptions, the applicable job descriptions and minimum qualifications will be established by board resolution and may be amended from time to time by the board.

3.20.060 - Powers of department heads.¶
A. A department head or supervisor designated by the department head may suspend an employee for cause.
B. Any appeals of suspension orders shall be made in accordance with the grievance procedure established in the applicable memorandum of understanding.
