§ 13.50.090. Purpose of charges and fees.

It is the purpose of this article to provide for the recovery of costs for the implementation of the program established in this chapter. Any cost, expense, liability, fine, penalty, or other payment made, or incurred by the City, to clear or repair any upper private lateral shall be borne by the property owner.

§ 13.50.100. Charges and fees.

The City shall adopt charges and fees by resolution that may include:

A. Fees for reimbursement of the costs to set-up, implement and operate this program, but not to exceed the actual costs incurred;

B. Other fees as the City may deem necessary to carry out the requirements contained in this chapter or to reimburse the City for cost incurred in inspecting, repairing, or replacing upper laterals when such inspection, repair or replacement is not completed as required by the property owner.
