South Pasadena Municipal Code § 2.8 Bond—City treasurer

The treasurer of the city, before entering upon the duties of such office, shall execute and deliver to the city a bond in the penal sum of twenty-five thousand dollars, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties as treasurer.
