South Gate Municipal Code Ch. 1.19 Public Funds

Each city official or employee whose job responsibilities include the direct or indirect collection, monitoring, accounting or other handling of public funds has a responsibility and duty to protect and preserve those public funds entrusted to them. Incumbent upon each of those individuals who come in contact with public funds is the responsibility to serve as the "guardian" of the those funds.
