§ 1-10-1. Municipal elections.¶
The date of municipal elections for the city shall be the first Tuesday after the first Monday in each evennumbered year in accordance with Elections Code section 1301 . (Ord. 85-07, 1985)
§ 1-10-2. Publication of official documents.¶
Whenever, by law, ordinance or resolution a notice must be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city, such notice shall be published in one of the following:

Santa Ynez Valley News (Ord. 85-16, 1985; Amd. 2001 Code)
§ 1-10-3. Posting official documents.¶
Whenever, by law, ordinance or resolution a notice must be posted in a public place in the city, such notice shall be posted at the following locations:
Solvang Municipal Center
1644 Oak Street
Solvang, California
Administration Annex/Planning, Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments
411 Second Street
Solvang, California
Veterans Memorial Building
1745 Mission Drive
Solvang, California
