10.08.120 - Driving through funeral procession.¶
No operator of any vehicle shall drive between the vehicles comprising a funeral procession or a parade, provided that such vehicles are conspicuously so designated. The directing of all vehicles and traffic on any street over which such funeral procession or parade wishes to pass shall be subject to the orders of the police department.

10.08.130 - Clinging to moving vehicle.¶
No person shall attach himself/herself with his/her hands, or catch on, or hold on to with his/her hands or by other means, to any moving vehicle or train for the purpose of receiving motive power therefrom.

10.08.140 - Commercial vehicles using private driveways.¶
A. No person shall operate or drive a commercial vehicle in, on or across any private driveway approach or sidewalk area or the driveway itself without the consent of the owner or occupant of the property, if the owner has placed a sign or markings indicating that the use of such driveway is prohibited.
B. For the purpose of this section, a commercial vehicle shall mean a vehicle having a rated capacity in excess of one-half ton.

10.08.160 - New pavement and markings.¶
No person shall ride or drive any animal or any vehicle over or across any newly made pavement or freshly painted markings in any street when a barrier sign, cone marker or other warning device is in place warning persons not to drive over or across such pavement or marking, or when any such device is in place indicating that the street or any portion thereof is closed.

10.08.190 - Limited access roadways.¶
No person shall drive a vehicle onto or from any limited access roadway except at such entrances and exits as are lawfully established.

10.08.200 - No driving on flood control channels.¶
No person shall operate any vehicle upon any flood control channel within the city which is owned, operated or under the control of either the Los Angeles County flood control district or the United States Corps of Engineers, the Los Angeles County flood control district or the city, nor shall it apply to the driving or operating of a motor vehicle on the traveled portion of any public highway crossing any such flood control channel.

10.08.210 - Shrubbery obstructing visibility of intersections.¶
Whenever the city manager finds that any hedge, shrubbery or tree growing in a parkway obstructs the view of any intersection, or any traffic upon the streets approaching such intersection or any traffic control device, he/she may notify the owner of the property on which such hedge, shrubbery or tree to remove, trim, or reduce it in height. Should the owner fail to do so within the time specified in the city manager's notice, the owner shall be guilty of a violation of this code punishable as a misdemeanor as provided in Section 1.12.010 unless the city prosecutor determines in the interests of justice that the matter should be prosecuted as an infraction.

10.08.220 - Horses prohibited in central traffic district.¶
No person shall ride, lead or drive a horse in the central traffic district of the city as depicted in Exhibit A attached to the ordinance codified in this section and kept on file in office of the city clerk. The central traffic district was established by the city council in Resolution No. 76-38.

10.08.230 - Use of skateboards, etc. in the central traffic district.¶
A. No person shall operate or use any skateboard, roller skates, roller blades, or other similar device upon:
Any roadway or sidewalk in the central traffic district;
Any parking lot, sidewalk, walkway, or other portion of the buildings, property, or premises of the Sierra Madre City Hall, located at 232 West Sierra Madre Boulevard; the Sierra Madre Public Library, located at 440 West Sierra Madre Boulevard; the Sierra Madre Fire Department, located at 242 West Sierra Madre Boulevard; and the Sierra Madre Police Department, located at 242 West Sierra Madre Boulevard and any other place specified by resolution of the city council and identified by signs making references to this section.
B. A person violating subsection A of this section shall be punishable as follows:
A first violation within a twelve-month period shall be an infraction punishable by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars.
A second violation within a twelve-month period shall be an infraction punishable by a fine of not more than two hundred dollars.
A third violation within a twelve-month period shall be an infraction punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars.
A fourth or further violation within a twelve-month period shall be a misdemeanor punishable, as provided in Section 1.12.010 of this code.
