10.16.010 - Increasing state speed limit in certain zones.¶
A. It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed permitted by state law upon the following streets is less than is necessary for safe operation of vehicles thereon by reason of the designation and signposting of said streets as through highways and (or) by reason of widely spaced intersections and it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter set forth on those streets or parts of streets herein designated when signs are erected giving notice thereof:
- 30 Miles Per Hour:
a. Baldwin Ave. from Highland Ave. to Carter Ave.
b. Grandview Ave. from Baldwin Ave. to Michillinda Ave.
c. Grandview Ave. from Baldwin Ave. to Santa Anita Ave.
d. Highland Ave. from Baldwin Ave. to Michillinda Ave.
e. Highland Ave. from Baldwin Ave. to Canon Ave.
f. Lima St. from Sierra Madre Blvd. to Carter Ave.
g. Lima St. from Sierra Madre Blvd. to Orange Grove Ave.
h. Mountain Trail Ave. from Sierra Madre Blvd. to Mira Monte Ave.
i. Mountain Trail Ave. from Sierra Madre Blvd. to Orange Grove Ave.
j. Santa Anita Ave. from Grandview Ave. to Arno Drive.
k. Sierra Madre Blvd. From South Hermosa Ave. to Michillinda Ave.
l. Sierra Madre Blvd. From Baldwin Ave. to East City Limit.
m. Sunnyside Ave. from Sierra Madre Blvd. to North City Limit.
n. Sunnyside Ave. from Sierra Madre Blvd. to Orange Grove Ave.
- 35 Miles Per Hour:
a. Baldwin Ave. from Sierra Madre Blvd. to Orange Grove Ave.

10.16.020 - Decrease of state law maximum speed.¶
It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed permitted by state law upon the following streets is greater than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist upon such streets and it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as herein set forth on those streets or parts of streets herein designated when signs are erected giving notice thereof:

10.16.040 - Speed on private property.¶
No person shall drive or operate any motor vehicle in a private driveway on or private property in excess of fifteen miles per hour when the owner of said driveway or property has erected a sign giving notice thereof.
