Sierra County Municipal Code Ch. 9.26 Sierra County Parks and Community Recreation Facilities

This chapter may be referred to as the Sierra County Parks and Community Recreation Facilities Rules and Regulations. (Ord. 1052 § 1, eff. 7/2/14)

This chapter applies equally to every user of any Sierra County park and community recreation facility as described herein. (Ord. 1052 § 1, eff. 7/2/14)

A. Von Schmidt Monument Historic Park is subject to the following rules and regulations:

1. Hours of public use are from dawn to dusk daily.

2. No overnight parking or camping.

3. No discharge of firearms.

4. No open fires or barbecues allowed.

B. A violation of the provisions of subsection (A) of this section may be prosecuted as either a misdemeanor or an infraction at the discretion of the District Attorney. (Ord. 1052 § 1, eff. 7/2/14)
