4-70.010 Definition of "restaurant." ¶

As used in this Article, the term "restaurant" shall have the same meaning as set forth in Section 15-06.550 of this Code. (Ord. 71-128 § 1 (part), 1993)

4-70.020 Certification requirements. ¶

No person shall engage in the business of operating a restaurant within the City without first providing written certification to the City of the following:

(a) The restaurant is being (or will be, in the case of newly established restaurants) operated in compliance with the best management practices established by the Director of Public Works for restaurant operations.

(b) All applicable employees have been instructed in and are complying with the best management practices and with all state and local regulations concerning the proper maintenance and servicing of grease traps, interceptors and trash receptacles.

(c) All City-promulgated notices which require posting on the restaurant premises have been properly posted. (Ord. 71-128 § 1 (part), 1993)
