6.50.010 REGULATIONS ADOPTED.

The city of Santa Cruz hereby adopts by reference, as though fully set forth herein, Chapter 7.100 (regarding Hazardous Materials) of the Santa Cruz County Code, as presently worded or hereafter modified.

6.50.020 HEALTH OFFICER.

The county health officer is hereby designated as the city health officer for purposes of enforcing the above-referenced regulations.

6.50.030 INSPECTIONS AND REPORTS.

The city’s designated representative may, at his/her discretion, conduct inspections of sites and require records of compliance within the city’s jurisdiction for the purpose of protecting the public health and safety.

6.50.040 FEES.

Fees may be established from time to time by the city council by resolution.

6.50.050 COSTS.

Any costs incurred by the city to enforce the above-referenced regulations or to remedy the effects of any violation of the regulations shall be reimbursed to the city by the person violating such regulation.

6.50.060 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY.

This chapter shall not create liability on the part of the city, or of any officer or employee of the city, for any damages that result from reliance on this chapter or any administrative decision lawfully made under this chapter.
