3.28.010 Established—Minimum required balance.

Within the general fund there shall be established an unrestricted contingencies reserve to be known as the General Reserve Account. Each fiscal year there shall be maintained in this account an amount equal to three percent of the aggregate amount of the approved budget. Each annual budget shall contain a sufficient appropriation of funds which will be added to carry over funds in the account to satisfy the three percent amount. (Prior code § 2640)
