10.4.1.1 Coatings.¶
All bolted joint accessories shall be cleaned and thoroughly coated with asphalt or other corrosion-retarding material after installation.
Exception: Bolted joint accessories made from 304 or 316 stainless steel.
(v) Section 10.4.1.1.1 is hereby added as follows:
10.4.1.1.1 All bolts used in pipe-joint assembly shall be 316 stainless steel.¶
(vi) Section 10.4.3.2 is hereby deleted.
