2.08.3800 - Commission established.¶
The parks and recreation commission is hereby created.

2.08.3810 - Number of members.¶
The commission shall consist of eleven members.

2.08.3815 - Appointment process.¶
All members of the parks and recreation commission shall be appointed in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.08.180.

2.08.3820 - Functions, powers, and duties.¶
The commission shall have the following functions, powers, and duties:
A. Study, review, evaluate and make recommendations to the council, city manager and other department heads respecting existing and/or proposed parks, recreation, and community services, facilities and programs; their use and operation; the extent and nature of the services to be rendered to the public; the financing of parks, recreation, and community service facilities and their operations and services; and other matters respecting the city's parks, recreation and community services system.
