2-6000 - ESTABLISHMENT OF SCHOOLS.¶
The Board has and does hereby determine that public welfare and necessity require the establishment and maintenance of an elementary and secondary public school in connection with the Juvenile Hall known as Peterson Hall.

2-6001 - POWERS AND DUTIES OF SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT.¶
The schools so established and maintained shall be maintained by the County Superintendent of Schools, and he shall have the same powers and duties with respect to these schools as the governing board of a school district would have were said schools maintained by the school district under the provisions of Article 14, Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 2 of the Welfare and Institutions Code.

2-6002 - POWERS OF BOARD.¶
The County Board of Education shall have the same powers with respect to the schools as though the schools were maintained by a school district.

2-6003 - JUVENILE HALL CAMP PROGRAM.¶
This Board does hereby establish under the provisions of Welfare and Institutions Code Section 881 a juvenile camp to be located at and near the existing Juvenile Hall.
