Sec. 975. Restricting Use of Economic Poison. Sec. 976. Penalty.

SEC. 975. RESTRICTING USE OF ECONOMIC POISON. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use an "economic poison" as defined in Section 1061, of the Agricultural Code of the State of California, on any lawn, garden or other area accessible to the public, in any manner or method whereby any of the contents of the package or container of said "economic poison" is accessible to children. SEC. 976. PENALTY. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $100 or by imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than 10 days or by both such fine and imprisonment.
