The San Francisco Building Code amendments contained herein are designed to be used in conjunction with the 2025 California Building Code and include all residential code provisions of the 2025 California Residential Code, including more restrictive provisions carried forward into these amendments and so noted.
The San Francisco Building Code amendments contained herein were adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco on November 21, 2025, by Ordinance 231-25, effective December 22, 2025 and operative January 1, 2026.
