SEC. 13.63. HOME DETENTION PROGRAM.

The Sheriff is authorized to offer a Home Detention Program, as specified in California Penal Code Section [1 ] Section 1203.016, in which minimum security prisoners and low-risk offenders committed to the County Jail or other County correctional facility or inmates participating in a Work

Furlough program may voluntarily participate in a Home Detention Program during their sentence in lieu of confinement in the County Jail or other County correctional facility. The Sheriff shall not charge fees for participation in the Home Detention Program.
