Sec. 42-51. - Enforcement duties.

It shall be the duty of the health officer to enforce and observe all of the following:

(1) Orders and ordinances of the city council pertaining to the public health;

(2) Orders, quarantine regulations and rules concerning the public health prescribed by the state department of public health; and

(3) Statutes relating to the public health.

Sec. 42-52. - Right of entry and inspection.

It shall be lawful for the health officer to enter and inspect any railway car, stage, vehicle, building, room, hospital, lot, auto court, trailer camp or other place in the city in the performance of his duties.

Sec. 42-53. - Interfering with duties.

No person shall refuse, resist or attempt to resist the entrance of the health officer into any railway car, stage, vehicle, building, room, hospital, lot, auto court, trailer camp or other place in the city in the performance of his duty, and no person shall refuse to obey any lawful order of the health officer made in the performance of his duties within the power conferred upon him by law.
