§125.0501 Purpose of Parcel Map Procedures

The purpose of these procedures is to provide the process for approving applications for parcel maps . The intent of these regulations is to supplement the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act .

§125.0510 When a Parcel Map Is Required

A parcel map is required for any subdivision of land for which a map is required in Section 125.0110 and for which a final map is not required by the Subdivision Map Act . An applicant may also file a parcel map for purposes of a Lot Line Adjustment in accordance with Chapter 12, Article 5, Division 3 (Lot Line Adjustments). §125.0520 How to Apply for a Parcel Map

An applicant shall apply for a parcel map in accordance with Section 112.0102. The preparation, content, and form of parcel maps shall conform to the provisions in the Subdivision Map Act and the Land Development Manual. (Added 12-9-1997 by O-18451 N.S.; effective 1-1-2000.)

§125.0530 Decision Process for a Parcel Map

  • (a) A decision on parcel maps shall be made by the City Engineer in accordance with Process One and the Subdivision Map Act .

  • (b) The City Engineer may accept dedications of public rights-of-way and easements where required on a parcel map .

§125.0540 Approval Requirements for a Parcel Map

  • (a) A parcel map must comply with the provisions of Chapter 14, Article 4 (Subdivision Regulations).

  • (b) Any condition imposed as part of the approval of the tentative map must be satisfied before the City Engineer executes the parcel map Certificate in accordance with the Subdivision Map Act , Section 66450.

  • (c) The City Manager may enter into all agreements related to approval of the parcel map .

§125.0550 Recordation of a Parcel Map

After approval of a parcel map , the City shall submit the map to the County Recorder for recordation and filing in accordance with the Subdivision Map Act . Upon acceptance by the County Recorder, the City shall notify the subdivider that the map is of public record.
