Sec. 104.2.2.5 Technical Study BESS.¶
To determine compliance with this code, the fire code official is authorized to require the owner or owner's authorized agent to provide a technical opinion. Technical Studies are required for all Battery Energy Storage System projects that are equal or more than 600 kilowatt hours. The technical study requirement is for all types of batteries.
