§ 3.01.140 POSITION OF APPOINTED CLERK TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CREATED.

There is established in the county the position known as the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. The Clerk shall be appointed by the County Administrative Officer and shall serve under the supervision of the County Administrative Officer as provided by Cal. Gov’t Code § 25100.5.

§ 3.01.141 DUTIES AND POWERS.

The Clerk of the Board shall have those powers and duties specifically prescribed for the office in the Government Code of the State of California and such additional powers and duties as are specifically assigned by the Board of Supervisors and the county’s Administrative Officer.
