§ 3.01.025 OFFICE TO BE APPOINTIVE.¶
The Office of the County Surveyor is appointive. The election laws of the State of California shall not be applicable to the County Surveyor. (1966 Code, § 2-9) (Ord. 206, §§ 1, 2; Ord. 729, § 1(part)) Statutory reference: County surveyor generally, see Cal. Gov’t Code §§ 27550 et seq.
§ 3.01.026 APPOINTMENT.¶
The Board of Supervisors shall appoint the County Surveyor to serve at the will of the Board. (1966 Code, § 2-10) (Ord. 206, § 3; Ord. 729, § 1(part))
§ 3.01.027 OFFICE OF COUNTY SURVEYOR.¶
The County Surveyor shall be the ex officio division head of the county’s Surveyor and Engineering Division of the Public Works Department. The County Surveyor shall act under the authority and under the general supervision of the Public Works Administrator. (1966 Code, § 2-11) (Ord. 206, § 4; Ord. 729, § 1(part))
