Sacramento County Municipal Code Ch. 21.10 Definitions

"Board" means the Board of Supervisors of Sacramento County.

"Capitol improvement program" means that plan of physical improvements periodically proposed by the County Executive and approved by the planning agency (i.e., Board of Supervisors).

"Community council" means a community planning advisory council established by the Board of Supervisors pursuant to Chapter 2.36 of the County Code.

"Community plans" means a plan, or any element or part of such plan, adopted prior to October 31, 1975 as a community plan by the Board, or adopted pursuant to the provisions of this title as a community plan for a planning area, to provide more detailed guidance than otherwise obtainable from the adopted general plan.

"County Code" means the Sacramento County Code.

"County executive" means the County Executive of Sacramento County.

"General plan" means the general plan of the County of Sacramento, or any element or part thereof, adopted pursuant to the provisions of the State Planning and Zoning Law, Title 7 of the Government Code.

"Planning agency" means the planning agency established by Chapter 2.32 of this Code.

"County Planning Commission" means the County Planning Commission of Sacramento County established by Chapter 2.30 of the County Code.

"Secretary" means the secretary of the policy planning commission.

"Specific plan" means a specific plan, or any element or part thereof, adopted by the Board of Supervisors pursuant to the provisions of the State Planning and Zoning Law, Title 7 of the Government Code.
