8.04.010 - Adoption of Health Code.

Except as hereinafter provided, Title 11, Health and Safety, of the Los Angeles County Code as amended to and in effect on July 1, 1999, is adopted by reference as an ordinance of the city. Said ordinance as so constituted and from time to time amended and may be referred to as the "Health Code of the City of Rosemead."

8.04.020 - Deposit with Clerk.

One copy of Title 11, Health and Safety of the Los Angeles County Code has been deposited in the office of the City Clerk and shall be there maintained by the City Clerk for use and inspection by the public.

8.04.030 - Definitions.

Whenever any of the following names or terms are used in Title 11 of the Los Angeles County Code, each name or term shall be deemed and construed to have the meaning ascribed to it in this section as follows:

"County," "County of Los Angeles" or "Unincorporated Area" means the city of Rosemead.

"Director of Health Services" means the Director of Health Services of the county of Los Angeles or such other person as may be appointed by the City Council to perform the functions of the Director of Health Services under said ordinance.

8.04.040 - Food establishment regulations—Adoption of county ordinance.

Ordinance No. 97-0071 of the county of Los Angeles is adopted and made a part of this code. A copy of said ordinance shall be maintained on file by the City Clerk.
