2.67.010 - Electronic filing of campaign disclosures required.¶
Any elected officer, candidate, committee, or other person required to file statements, reports or other documents as required by Chapter 4 of the Political Reform Act (California Government Code Section 84100 et seq.) with the local filing officer for the City of Rohnert Park shall file such materials using an electronic filing system provided by the city according to procedures established by the city clerk.
Notwithstanding the foregoing and in accordance with Government Code Section 84615, in any instance in which the original statement, report, or other document is required to be filed with the Secretary of State and a copy of that statement, report, or other document is required to be filed with the local filing officer for the City of Rohnert Park, such material may be filed electronically, but is not required to be filed electronically.

2.67.020 - Electronic filing of statements of economic interests.¶
The city clerk may require that any officials, consultants, or employees that are required to file statements of economic interest with the local filing officer under Article 2 of the Political Reform Act (Government Code Section 87200 et seq.) or Article 3 (Government Code Section 87300 et seq.), file such statements and any amendments electronically using an electronic filing system, provided that such system has first been certified by the Fair Political Practices Commission in accordance with Government Code Section 87500.2.

2.67.030 - City clerk authority over electronic filing procedures.¶
The city clerk shall have the authority to establish and amend procedures for electronic filing, as necessary, to accomplish the following:
A. Ensure that the electronic filing system and its use complies with the requirements set forth in Section 84615 of the Government Code, Government Code Section 87500.2, and applicable FPPC regulations, including 2 Cal. Code Regs. Section 18756, as may be amended from time to time; and
B. Meet the purpose and intent of this chapter and comply with other applicable law; and
C. Ensure the integrity of the data transmitted and include safeguards against efforts to tamper with, manipulate, alter, or subvert the data.
In establishing such procedures, the city clerk shall consult with the city attorney.
