8.12.010 - Abatement by statutory provisions.¶
Weed and rubbish abatement in the city shall be performed pursuant to the provisions of Title 4, Division 3, Part 2, Chapter 13, Article 2 of the Government Code of the state of California (Sections 39560 et seq.) except as modified by this chapter.

8.12.020 - Strict superintendent duties.¶
Any duties imposed upon the street superintendent by the Government Code sections cited in Section 8.12.010 may in the alternative be performed by the city manager, his assistants or designees.

8.12.030 - Maintenance standards for vacant parcels.¶
The city council, upon recommendation of the fire chief, shall adopt standards for the maintenance and control of weeds on vacant parcels. The standards shall be reviewed and may be amended from time-to-time in response to environmental or geographical conditions. Standards shall be effective upon adoption by the city council.
