1.06.010 - Condition to filing action.¶
Prior to the filing of any action on any claim as defined in Chapter 1.05 or any claim governed by the Tort Claims Act, California Government Code §§ 900 et seq. ("Tort Claims Act" or by another state law (cumulatively a "Chapter 1.06 Claim"), a Chapter 1.06 Claim shall be acted upon by the City in accordance with the provisions of the Tort Claims Act or such other applicable state law.

1.06.020 - Authority to reject Chapter 1.06 claims.¶
The City Attorney and/or Risk Manager by and through the City Clerk are authorized to reject any Chapter 1.06 Claims.

1.06.030 - Authority to allow, compromise or settle Chapter 1.06 claims.¶
The City Council, or such City of Riverside employees authorized by and subject to the limits set forth in a resolution of the City Council, may allow, compromise or settle any Chapter 1.06 Claims.
