8.04.010 - Taking water from fire hydrants unlawful.

It is hereby declared unlawful for any person other than a member of the Fire Department of the City of Richmond, acting in the discharge of his duties as such fireman, to open, or take water from, any fire hydrant in the City of Richmond, without first receiving a permit in writing so to do, signed by the authorized agent of the person owning such hydrant and the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Richmond.

8.04.020 - Exceptions.

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the owner of such hydrants or his or its duly authorized representatives, agents or employees. (Source: Ordinance No. 470)
