13.10.010 - General provisions.

All helicopter owners and operators shall conform to airport operation requirements and restrictions as outlined for aircraft, as applicable.

13.10.020 - Helicopter taxiing.

All helicopters taxiing shall be at a safe altitude and speed as to avert potential damage to other aircraft or property due to rotor-wash. All helicopter taxi operations shall be conducted over the runway, taxiway or established ingress and egress routes on ramp areas. Low-altitude taxi operations over parked aircraft or established aircraft parking ramp are prohibited.

13.10.030 - Helicopter patterns.

The established traffic patterns for helicopter operations are:

Runway 24 — Left traffic

Runway 6 — Right traffic

Runway 35 — Left traffic

Runway 17 is closed to all nonemergency operations.

Pattern altitude for helicopter operations is 2000 msl. All pilots are requested to avoid homesites south of Baseline Road due to noise factors.

13.10.040 - Exemptions.

Due to the nature of special helicopter operations, certain exemptions apply based on operational needs and requirements, although aircraft owners and operators shall comply with safety precautions at all times.
