1.01.010 - Findings.

The city council of the city of Rialto finds and declares that the Rialto Municipal Code should be amended to provide a contemporary municipal code, and to delete obsolete provisions, clarify remaining provisions, and make all other corrections necessary to Titles 1 through 18, inclusive, of the Rialto Municipal Code.

1.01.020 - Consideration by city council.

The Rialto Municipal Code, a compilation of existing ordinances of the city of Rialto, has been considered by the city council.

1.01.030 - Revised code filed.

The Rialto Municipal Code has been filed in the office of the city clerk for at least fifteen days preceding the public hearing as to its adoption, and has been kept in said office for public inspection during such fifteen-day period.

1.01.040 - Hearing held—Notice.

After the first reading of the title of the ordinance codified in this chapter, the city council scheduled a public hearing thereon on the fifth day of December, 1995, and notice of hearing was published pursuant to Government Code Section 6066 in the Rialto Record, a newspaper of general circulation in the city, which notice stated that copies of the Rialto Municipal Code were on file with the city clerk and open to public inspection.

The Rialto Municipal Code is incorporated by reference in Ordinance No. 1234 and is adopted the code of the city, and the penalty provisions, as amended, herein below are specifically set forth and adopted.
