§ 4-9.401. Permits required.

It is unlawful for any person to offer for sale, sell, or otherwise dispose of any goods, wares, merchandise, foodstuff, candy, or sundries on any school property, public street, alley, way, or sidewalk adjacent to or within 300 feet of any public school ground in the City unless a permit therefor shall first be obtained from the Council.

The provisions of this section shall not apply to sales under the supervision of the school authorities within the school grounds.
