9.28.010: OPENING HYDRANTS:¶
It is unlawful for any person within the city to open, or attempt to open, any fire hydrant in the city without first obtaining a permit so to do from the chief of the fire department. (Prior code §§ 50000, 50005)
9.28.020: PEDDLING PROHIBITED NEAR SCHOOLS:¶
No person shall sell, offer for sale, give away, solicit the sale of, or expose for sale, any goods, wares or merchandise including, but not limited to, toys, fruits, vegetables, peanuts, popcorn, candy, ice cream or other food items upon any public street, sidewalk, or parkway within one thousand feet (1,000') of the property line of any public or private primary or secondary school during the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and five o'clock (5:00) P.M., on any day when school is in session. This section does not prohibit the delivery of goods or merchandise to school personnel, businesses or occupants of dwelling units. (Ord. 2648 § 1, 2006)
