Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code Ch. 2.16 Payroll Warrants

Payroll warrants for officers and employees whose compensation has previously been fixed by the city council need not be audited by the city council prior to payment. Biweekly payroll periods shall end on every other Friday. Payments are to be made within seven days following the end of each pay period. Department heads shall certify or approve departmental payrolls or attendance records for employees in their departments. The city manager, or their designee, shall certify or approve payrolls or attendance records of other officers and employees.
