Chapter 3.12 — TRANSFER OF TAX FUNCTIONS

§ 3.12.010. Definitions.¶
The following words and expressions when used in this chapter shall, for the purpose of this chapter, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them as follows:
"City" means City of Plymouth, a municipal corporation situated in the County of Amador, State of California.
"County" means County of Amador, a political subdivision of the State of California. (Ord. 82-5 § 8, 1982)
§ 3.12.020. Transfer of duties.¶
The assessment and the tax collection duties, and the collection of assessments levied for municipal improvements, now performed by the City Assessor and City Tax Collector, are transferred to the County Assessor and County Tax Collector for the purpose of assessment a collection of and for ad valorem property taxes that become a lien after December 1, 1960; and the collection of assessments for municipal improvements becoming due and payable on and after July 1, 1961.
