Part 9 — Housing and Dangerous Building Code Enforcement Fund

§ 15.56.250. Establishment and definition.

There is created by the auditor-controller in the county treasury a Placer County housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund. The housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund shall be an interest-bearing special revenue fund. The housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund shall receive all moneys collected pursuant to this article to the extent permitted by state law. The housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund may receive moneys from other sources. (Prior code § 25.25)

§ 15.56.260. Purposes and limitations.

Moneys deposited in the housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund shall be used to enforce the housing and dangerous building codes and provisions of this article. Moneys placed in this housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund shall be held until disbursed as provided in this part and shall be used to pay the reasonable and necessary expenses of operating the program enforcing the housing and dangerous building codes and the provisions of this article, and for no other purpose. § 15.56.270. Administration.

The housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund shall be administered by the county executive who shall have the authority to manage the housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund consistent with this article and to prescribe procedures to carry out its purposes, subject to approval by board resolution. § 15.56.280. Use and disbursement of moneys in the fund.

Moneys in the housing and dangerous building code enforcement fund shall be used exclusively for the reasonable and necessary expenses of operating the program and enforcing the housing and dangerous building codes and the provisions of this article consistent with the county budget adopted by the board.
