10.56.010 RESERVED.

10.56.020 LOWERING SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN ZONES.

It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed permitted by state law outside of business and residence districts as applicable upon the following streets is greater than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist upon such streets, and the prima facie speed limit shall be as set forth on those streets or part of streets designated as follows when signs are erected giving notice of such:

10.56.030 ERECTION OF SIGNS AND SIGNALS.

The city traffic engineer is authorized to regulate the timing of traffic signals so as to permit the movement of traffic in an orderly and safe manner at speeds slightly at variance from the speeds otherwise applicable within the district or at intersections, and shall erect appropriate signs giving notice thereof. (Ord. 432 § 2(part), 1982).
