10.44.010 Allowing minors prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person, either as owner, proprietor, manager or agent of any premises in the city which are

used for renting pool or billiard tables or games, or which are used by the public for the playing of cards or as a

public card playing room, to permit or allow any person under the age of eighteen years to visit or frequent such

place of business. (Ord. 127 NCS § 1; prior code §16.10.)

10.44.020 Minors accompanied by a parent or legal guardian may play pool.

The provisions of Section 10.44.010 shall not apply to any minor renting the pool or billiard table when the minor

is accompanied by his or her parent or his or her court appointed guardian. (Ord. 1694 NCS §1, 1987.)
