3.28.010 - Short title.¶
This chapter shall be known as the "Pasadena civil defense training center ordinance."

3.28.015 - Public safety agency jurisdiction.¶
A. The public range and the police range and the grounds appurtenant thereto are placed under the administrative jurisdiction of the public safety agency.
B. The director of the public safety agency may exclude from the public range or the police range or the grounds appurtenant thereto any individual whose presence is detrimental to the enjoyment of the facility by others or whose conduct is offensive to the public and a nuisance or whose conduct is a danger to the individual or the public. Such person may appeal his exclusion to the city manager, and the city manager's decision in the matter shall be final.
C. The board of directors, by resolution, shall establish a schedule of fees to be charged and collected for the use of any of the facilities or the rental of any equipment at either the public range or the police range. The schedule may provide for reduced fees and rental charges for charitable organizations or nonprofit organizations or bona fide shooting groups or regularly employed members of any federal, state or local police agency. No charge shall be made to Pasadena police officers or police reserves.
D. The director of the public safety agency shall establish rules and regulations governing all uses of the public range and the police range and the grounds appurtenant thereto.

3.28.020 - Public range fees and rentals.¶
The following fees and rentals are established and shall be charged and collected as a service charge:
A. Shooters 16 Years of Age or Over.
- Occasional individual shooters:
4 hours or less .....$ 3.00
Each additional hour ..... .75
- Individual nontransferable shooters:
Coupon book .....$25.00
(Each book contains 10 coupons good for one 4-hour period per day. Book expires 1 year after issuance.)
B. Shooters Under 16 Years of Age.
4 hours or less .....$ 1.50
Each additional hour ..... .75
C. Group Shooters. Any bona fide shooting group approved as such by the range supervisor may make arrangements for night firing. In addition to the foregoing charges, the fee shall be $ 15.00 per night, for a minimum 2-hour period, and $10.00 for each additional hour, plus cost of range supervisor on duty during period of use.
D. Rentals.
- Scopes:
4 hours or less .....$ 1.00
- Rifles:
4 hours or less .....$ 1.50
- Targets:
3 for .....$ .20
E. Gun Repair.
15 minutes or less .....$ 3.00
Each additional 15 minutes or portion thereof .....2.00
No charge shall be made to Pasadena police officers or reserves.
