9.20.010 - Drinking and possessing alcoholic beverages prohibited.¶
A. No person shall drink any beer, wine or other intoxicating or alcoholic beverage on or within any street, sidewalk, alley, highway, playground, park or in any vacant lot without the owner's permission, or public parking lot within the city.
B. No person shall possess, have, or be in control of any open container of beer, wine or other intoxicating or alcoholic beverage on or within any street, sidewalk, alley, highway, playground, park or in any vacant lot without the owner's permission, or public parking lot within the city.
C. No person or entity shall possess, sell, cause to be sold, trade, barter, exchange, donate or otherwise give to any other person any beer, wine or other intoxicating or alcoholic beverage on or within any park within the city.
D. Subsections A, B, and C of this section shall not be deemed to make punishable any act or acts which are prohibited by any statute of the state of California.

9.20.020 - Violation-Penalty.¶
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as set forth in Section 1.16.010 of this code.
