9.17.010 - Definitions. As used in this chapter:

A. "Taxi dancehall" means any place in which a dance is held when the patrons pay for the privilege of dancing with dancing partners who are employed directly or indirectly, or are permitted or allowed to dance, by the manager, owner or proprietor.

B. "Taxi dancer" means any person who is paid for being a dancing partner at a taxi dancehall.

9.17.020 - Taxi dancehalls.

No person shall sponsor, operate, manage or conduct a taxi dancehall, or hold any public dance where the patrons pay for the privilege of dancing with dancing partners who are employed directly or indirectly, or are permitted or allowed to dance by the manager, owner or proprietor of the hall or the manager or sponsor of the dance. No person shall act as a taxi dancer in a taxi dancehall or at any public dance.
