4.06.010 - Punitive actions against at-will employees.

A. At-will employees serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority.

B. The appointing authority may terminate an at-will employee at any time, with or without cause, and without regard to the procedures provided for in Chapter 4.03 of this title.

C. Department directors may be terminated upon thirty calendar days' written notice, provided that such notice period may be waived by the appointing authority where the termination is occasioned by serious, specified misconduct in office.

4.06.020 - Administrative appeals.

Appropriate administrative appeals and/or hearings shall be provided to at-will employees when required by state or federal law.
